KT-Training & Fitness Over 50 offers 'mature' adults fitness classes, personal training, and weight room orientation in Seacoast, New Hampshire. Owned by Katy Brandin, KT- Fitness classes provide warm-ups, balance, mobility, flexibility and either strength training or cardiovascular exercise, all tailored to the physiology of adults over fifty years of age.
Katy Brandin, a certified Senior Fitness Group Instructor and Personal Trainer, also holds certifications in Spin, Stability Ball, Body-Flex, Step, and BOSU, and multiple aspects of Senior Fitness. Teaching fitness since 1989, Katy possesses extensive coaching experience at both the middle and high school levels. Coaching both male and female teams in various sports over the past four decades, Katy understands the psychology of motivation, discipline, and sport-specific training. A mentor teacher in Secondary English and holding a Masters Degree in Teaching, Katy's joy in sharing her passions, whether literature and writing or exercise and sports, is clearly conveyed in both her group classes and personal training sessions.
Katy limits her training clients, ensuring each client receives individualized plans based on their unique needs and benefits from her total commitment and passion for their progress. Believing a client's needs should dictate the number of training sessions rather than the trainer's desire to 'lock in payment', Katy's initial 'meet & greet' session includes a thorough discussion of a client's fitness goals, medical history, and physical or medical issues. An assessment of the perspective client's physical fitness occurs to determine the number of sessions a client may need to achieve their goals.
Weight Room Orientation: an hour session instructing the use and purpose of the various machines, barbells, and dumbbell options available-- an option for those not seeking personal training.
Training Fee: $75.00/hour per individual
Weight Room Orientation: $35.00/per individual, $50.00 couple
